The loss of our Dear Friend Reverend Ian Brooks brought much sadness to the group and some challenges to continue the hard work and dedication Ian provided to the group and community.
Key Achievements
Partnership working
The group has worked closely with Croxteth Federation and Community Council helping to maintain and develop key services locally.
"Tripsen helped me get support through the local advice agency with my PIP from, a massive thanks to all” Croxteth Resident

Advice Centre The group often refers to the local advice Centre and supports people with the increasing benefit sanctions and completion of personal independent payment applications. We have strong community links to be able to signpost in a timely manner.
Activities have been established including a regular craft class, relaxation drop in for families and children. Following the closure of the local children's centre, we worked in partnership with the federation to assist with the establishing of children's services including after school clubs and mother and toddler groups.

Shopping Trips

Members of the groups go on shopping trips and outings and we are looking to work in partnership and develop opportunities. Plans for the Future Partnership working will remain a priority and we will continue to look to support and empower local people. We will continue to support local groups to deliver valuable community support services. We will look to develop social media with a new website to promote our services.

Brooks Way
We had originally been approached by the Cass Foundation for consultation on the development of a new pathway into Croxteth Park. The group had been instrumental in closing the old path at Riviera Drive due to anti social behaviour. Prior to Reverend Ian's death the group has discussed and supported the new location close to the primary school on Mossway. In March 2017 the new route was opened by Rev Ian's grandson and Stephen Twigg MP and we are delighted that the path in named is memory of Ian for his dedication to the people of Croxteth.

Community Clean Up

Community cleaning of Mossway. The group supported the cleaning of Trispen and Petherick including jet washing of pavements, litter pick up, community skips and grafitte removal

Food Hampers
