Did You Know?

Croxteth also has a Beatles connection!! The Beatles, featuring John, Paul, George and Pete Best played at Mossway Hall on Friday 17th March 1961, The Beatles didn't earn any money from this show, but they were allowed to drink as much Guinness as they were able - 17 March is St Patrick's Day. the venue with the original stage is still here today.

These images are from 1961 and from a gig that was played elsewhere. Do you have any pictures of Mossway in 1961 or maybe some stories you would like to share? We are working with local press to promote the hall.
