What we do.
Set at the heart of a Croxteth,  we have been serving the local community for over forty years. Our Charity was formed to improve the quality of life for residents of the area,. We are members of Advice UK and staff our trained in partnership with the Big Help Project through Community Money Advice  for our provision of free, independent, confidential and impartial information and advice.

What the Advice Service provides.
We address issues of disadvantage, inequality, poverty and ill health by offering a comprehensive professional and efficient service providing general and specialist advice for welfare benefits, housing, debt and financial matters. We promote the take-up of entitlements for disabled people and carers, facilitate financial inclusion, provide consumer advice, assist the promotion of equality and challenge all forms of discrimination; and, when possible, provide representation at tribunals.

We offer individual interviews at the Centre, or respond to telephone calls, providing information and advice and, when required, negotiation and representation, on a wide range of issues, including: General Help Level Communication, Travel, Transport, Holiday, Immigration & Nationality , Administration of Justice, Education, Employment, National & International, Family & personal, Benefits/Welfare Rights,Health,Housing,Taxes & Duties,Tax Credits, Debt (including Fuel debts), Leisure Activities; and signposting to other agencies when appropriate.

Croxteth Family Matters

What started as a quality marked advice service has grown into what we believe to be a unique developing project. During 2017 we successfully relocated a family support service within our charity following the closure of a local service. This challenge enabled us to restructure and in addition of providing advice we developed Croxteth Family Matters which is a wrap around support service providing:

Quality Advice, Family Support, Childrens Support, Older Persons Support.

Our goal is to empower local people, reduce poverty and promote inclusion in our community.
